The Cougars enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX).

The Coyotes now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mission for a 6A Region 4 District 31 challenge on Tuesday, February 20. La Joya will face a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Economedes (Edinburg, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-10.
