In Friday's league battle, the host Greenville Lions soccer squad scored a close 4-3 triumph over the Princeton Panthers.
The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against McKinney North (McKinney, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region 2 District 13 battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, McKinney North nudged Lovejoy (Lucas, TX), 6-3, in a league battle.
