Texas High School Soccer - Southside held off by Medina Valley

In Friday's league battle, the visiting Medina Valley Panthers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Southside Cardinals.
The Panthers (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Winn (Eagle Pass, TX). The Mavericks come into the 5A Region 4 District 28 battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Winn was nudged by Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX), 5-3, in a league battle.
The Cardinals (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX). The Indians come into the 5A Region 4 District 28 battle with a 14-4 record.
