The Midland Legacy Rebels softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Borger Bulldogs to 5 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Midland Legacy improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Rebels travel to Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to clash with the Plainsmen in a non-league game on Saturday, February 17. The Plainsmen come into the game with a record of 2-0.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 17. Borger will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Westerners come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 14-8 non-league loss to Monahans (Monahans, TX).
