In Sunday's non-league contest, the visiting Gloucester Fishermen basketball team scored a good 58-40 triumph over the Marblehead Magicians.

The Fishermen (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bedford (Bedford, MA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Bedford topped Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA), 60-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Magicians confront the Bishop Fenwick Crusaders (Peabody, MA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Marblehead will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 58-55 non-league win over Danvers (Danvers, MA).
