In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Edison Eagles basketball team scored a big 81-51 win over the J.P. Stevens Hawks.
The Eagles (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against South River (South River, NJ). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 5-18 record. In their last contest, South River was trounced by Manville (Manville, NJ), 65-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Sayreville Bombers (Parlin, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 19. J.P. Stevens will attempt to better on its 11-14 season record. The Bombers come into the contest with a 15-10 record after their 80-66 non-league loss to Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ).
