The Valley Rams baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Handley Tigers to 1 in the Rams non-league victory on Thursday.
The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Tallassee (Tallassee, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Tallassee nudged Montevallo (Montevallo, AL), 4-3, in a non-league bout.
Next, the Tigers face the Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 19. Handley will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
