Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lancaster Eagles (Lancaster, CA), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24.
With the loss, Lancaster falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Highland (Palmdale, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
