In Thursday's non-league game, the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA), by a final score of 7-0.
The Rebels (2-0) will now prepare for their game against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, McIntosh County Academy was overwhelmed by Claxton (Claxton, GA), 10-0, in a league game.
The Phoenix (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record.
