The Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Alden-Conger Knights to 52 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 22-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairmont for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 72-71 league win over Windom (Windom, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-16.

The Knights (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN). The Mavericks enter the A Section 2 contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Martin County West was routed by Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN), 63-50, in a non-league contest.
