Michigan High School Basketball - Bad Axe nudges Vassar

In Friday's league outing, the Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI) basketball squad nipped the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), by a margin of 55-51.

The Hatchets (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI). The Patriots go into the Greater Thumb - West outing with a 0-18 record. In their last outing, Unionville-Sebewaing was tipped by Laker (Pigeon, MI), 62-33, in a league outing.

The Vulcans now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Akron-Fairgrove for a non-league outing on Monday, February 20. Vassar will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 57-52 league loss to Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 7-10.
