The Battle Spartans basketball team (Columbia, MO), was nudged 64-61 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO)
The Kewpies now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vashon for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 18. Hickman will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 77-44 non-league win over Gateway Legacy Christian Academy (Florissant, MO). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-7.
The Spartans (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO). The Jays come into the Central Missouri battle with a 18-6 record. In their last battle, Jefferson City edged Capital City (Jefferson City, MO), 74-43, in a league battle.
