Massachusetts High School Basketball - Westport nudges Bishop Connolly

Westport Wildcats (Westport, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bishop Connolly Cougars (Fall River, MA), 78-73 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westport upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to East Bridgewater (East Bridgewater, MA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 22. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 8-9.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 22. Bishop Connolly will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record.
