Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX), 42-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Brackenridge upgrades its record to 22-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 21-12. South San Antonio won 55-42 in their recent league bout against Southside (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Owls play the Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout, on Saturday, February 18. Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 20-13 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 15-21 record after their 43-32 league loss to Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX).
