In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Clover Hill Cavaliers basketball team scored a tight 55-54 triumph over the Freeman Mavericks.
In their next game, the Cavaliers meet the Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 21. Clover Hill will attempt to move on its 5-18 season record. The Springers enter the match with a 17-6 record after their 57-55 non-league win over Hopewell (Hopewell, VA).
With the defeat, Freeman moves to 9-14 on the year.
