Nebraska High School Basketball - Lawrence-Nelson knocked off by Deshler

The Deshler Dragons basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Lawrence-Nelson Raiders to 30 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Exeter-Milligan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Deshler will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 62-30 non-league win over Dorchester (Dorchester, NE). The Timberwolves record now stands at 10-13.

The Raiders (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Sandy Creek ran past Heartland (Henderson, NE), 50-31, in a non-league contest.
