The Durango Demons (Durango, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO), 53-51 in Friday's league test.
The Demons (7-15) will now prepare for their test against Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO). The Wildcats go into the 6A/5A Southwestern test with a 19-2 record. In their last test, Fruita Monument got by Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO), 53-47, in a league test.
The Red Hawks now own a 15-8 record.
