The Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Eleva-Strum Cardinals to 36 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitehall for a Dairyland - Large contest on Monday, February 20. Melrose-Mindoro will battle a Norse team coming off a 76-65 league win over Augusta (Augusta, WI). The Norse record now stands at 14-5.

The Cardinals (2-20) will now prepare for their contest against Whitehall (Whitehall, WI). The Norse come into the Dairyland - Large contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Whitehall prevailed over Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI), 68-43, in a league contest.
