Grant Generals (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR), 48-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Grant upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Generals host Benson Tech (Portland, OR) to play the Techmen in a 6A Portland bout on Friday, February 24. The Techmen go into the bout with a record of 14-8.

Next up, the Quakers play the Jefferson Democrats (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 5-19 season record. The Democrats come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 71-70 league loss to Roosevelt (Portland, OR).
