The Manitowoc Lincoln Ships basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Green Bay Preble Hornets to 53 in the Ships league triumph on Friday.
The Ships now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheboygan South for a Fox River Classic contest on Thursday, February 23. Manitowoc Lincoln will battle a Redwings team coming off a 77-52 league loss to Bay Port (Green Bay, WI). The Redwings record now stands at 5-18.
The Hornets (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Green Bay Southwest (Green Bay, WI). The Fighting Trojans enter the Fox River Classic contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Green Bay Southwest ran past Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI), 58-55, in a league contest.
