The St. Croix Falls Saints basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Hayward Hurricanes to 40 in the Saints league triumph on Friday.

The Saints now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grantsburg for a non-league contest on Monday, February 20. St. Croix Falls will battle a Pirates team coming off a 59-40 league win over Clear Lake (Clear Lake, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 12-10.

The Hurricanes (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Lumberjacks enter the Heart O'North contest with a 19-4 record. In their last contest, Ladysmith was defeated by Cumberland (Cumberland, WI), 86-76, in a league contest.
