Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hiawatha Red Hawks (Hiawatha, KS) and the host Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS), saw Hiawatha's basketball squad overcome Royal Valley by a tally of 46-36.

With the victory, Hiawatha improves its record to 4-15 on the campaign.

Next up, the Panthers play the Silver Lake Eagles (Silver Lake, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Royal Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 51-40 non-league win over Rock Creek (St. George, KS).
