The Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Mercer Tigers to 55 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Solon Springs for a Indianhead contest on Thursday, February 23. Lac Courte Oreilles will battle a Eagles team coming off a 46-39 league win over Hurley (Hurley, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 22-1.

The Tigers (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Mellen (Mellen, WI). The Granite Diggers come into the Indianhead contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Mellen prevailed over Bayfield (Bayfield, WI), 65-63, in a league contest.
