The Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) basketball crushed the host Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI), 56-33 in Friday's league test.
The Wildcats (15-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Bears go into the Southwestern Michigan - West test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, St. Joseph walloped Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI), 47-42, in a non-league test.
The Lancers now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Edwardsburg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Lakeshore will meet a Eddies team coming off a 65-42 league win over Sturgis (Sturgis, MI). The Eddies record now stands at 11-5.
