The Madison Memorial Spartans (Madison, WI) basketball crushed the visiting Madison West Regents (Madison, WI), 80-42 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Madison East (Madison, WI). The Purgolders go into the Big Eight test with a 5-13 record.
The Regents now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Beloit Memorial for a Big Eight test on Tuesday, February 21. Madison West will encounter a Purple Knights squad coming off a 75-60 non-league loss to Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI). The Purple Knights record now stands at 4-20.
