The Marion Eagles (Marion, MI) basketball felled the host Mason County Eastern Cardinals (Custer, MI), 57-39 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Mesick (Mesick, MI). The Bulldogs go into the West Michigan D test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Mesick was beaten by Baldwin (Baldwin, MI), 56-51, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Cadillac Heritage Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 21.
