With the win, Newport upgrades its record to 13-10 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Mountain View (Mountain View, AR) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 20-7. Mountain View won 54-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR)

Next up, the Bearkatz confront the Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 23. Melbourne will attempt to improve on its 15-13 season record. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 69-60 league loss to Manila (Manila, AR).
