Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnewaska Area ripped by West Central Area

The West Central Area Knights basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Minnewaska Area Lakers to 46 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. West Central Area will battle a team coming off a 79-48 league loss to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The record now stands at 5-15.
The Lakers (1-22) will now prepare for their contest against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen enter the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Melrose triumphed over Montevideo (Montevideo, MN), 60-47, in a non-league contest.
