New Mexico High School Basketball - Texico succumbs to Pecos

The Pecos Panthers topped the visiting Texico Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 94-80 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM) in a 2A District 6 game, on Saturday, February 18. Pecos will attempt to move on its 22-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a 13-10 record after their 81-75 league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM).
With the defeat, Texico moves to 14-11 on the year.
