Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI), 57-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Redford Union upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Southeastern (Detroit, MI) to play the Jungaleers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 22. The Jungaleers come into the bout with a record of 7-11.

Next up, the Eagles play the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets (Beverly Hills, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 23. Romulus will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record.
