Michigan High School Basketball - Sault Area edges St.Ignace

The Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) basketball nipped the host St.Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI), 69-66 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Devils (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Rudyard (Rudyard, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern Upper Peninsula test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Rudyard got by Pickford (Pickford, MI), 77-49, in a non-league test.

The Saints now own a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Brimley for a non-league test on Monday, February 20. St.Ignace will encounter a Bays squad coming off a 78-28 league win over Engadine (Engadine, MI). The Bays record now stands at 11-8.
