In Friday's non-league outing, the South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) basketball squad nipped the host Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA), by a margin of 34-33.
The Lions (14-8) will now prepare for their outing against Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Indians enter the non-league match with a 18-4 record. In their last match, Peters Township nudged Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 66-55, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Shaler Area moves to 16-8 on the year.
