In Friday's non-league match, the host Shelton Gaels basketball team scored a good 62-50 triumph over the Sheehan Titans.
In their next game, the Gaels meet the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 20. Shelton will attempt to better on its 7-13 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 6-13 record after their 63-44 league loss to Immaculate (Danbury, CT).
With the defeat, Sheehan moves to 3-17 on the year.
