South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Albany Bulldogs (Albany, OR), 65-61 in a league bout.

With the win, South Albany upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Redhawks travel to Woodburn (Woodburn, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 16-6. Woodburn won 53-39 in their recent league bout against Dallas (Dallas, OR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout, on Tuesday, February 21. West Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 42-38 league win over Silverton (Silverton, OR).
