Whitharral Panthers (Whitharral, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Whiteface Antelopes (Whiteface, TX), 58-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Whitharral upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Follett (Follett, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 25-6. Follett won 94-31 in their recent league bout against Lefors (Lefors, TX)

Next up, the Antelopes play the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 20. Whiteface will attempt to upgrade on its 22-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 59-53 league loss to Sands (Ackerly, TX).
