The Clay Center Tigers basketball squad scored 50 points and limited the host Abilene Cowboys to 23 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

With the win, Clay Center upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Concordia (Concordia, KS) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-13.

Next up, the Cowboys play the Chapman Fighting Irish (Chapman, KS) in a North Central Kansas bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Abilene will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 36-34 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, KS).
