North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR), 53-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Eugene upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Churchill (Eugene, OR) to play the Lancers in a 5A Midwestern bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Churchill lost 73-27 in their recent league bout against Crater (Central Point, OR)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) in a 5A Midwestern bout, on Friday, February 24. Ashland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record.
