The Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball nipped the host Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA), 49-43 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, Shenango got by Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA), 63-32, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 8-10 record.
