In Friday's league outing, the Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting Central Panthers (Independence, OR), by a count of 57-38.
The Raiders (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Silverton (Silverton, OR). The Foxes go into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Silverton defeated Corvallis (Corvallis, OR), 61-29, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to McKay for a 5A Mid-Willamette outing on Tuesday, February 21. Central will clash with a Royal Scots squad coming off a 71-25 league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR). The Royal Scots record now stands at 5-16.
