The New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) basketball knocked off the host Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI), 42-31 in Friday's league test.
The Hornets (13-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 17-2 record.
The Railroaders now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Genesee for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 21. Durand will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 70-11 non-league win over International Academy (Flint, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 12-7.
