Michigan High School Basketball - River Rouge can't hold off Hamtramck

The Hamtramck Cosmos basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting River Rouge Panthers to 51 in the Cosmos league victory on Friday.
The Cosmos now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Divine Child for a non-league contest on Monday, February 20. Hamtramck will battle a Falcons team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 13-6.
The Panthers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against University Prep Science & Math (Detroit, MI). The Cobra come into the Michigan Metro contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, University Prep Science & Math edged Advanced Tech Academy (Dearborn, MI), 41-28, in a league contest.
