Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN) and the host Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN), saw Kennedy's basketball squad hold off Richfield by a tally of 46-40.

With the victory, Kennedy improves its record to 3-20 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN) to play the Hawks in a AAAA Section 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 18-5. Robbinsdale Cooper lost 67-47 in their recent league challenge against Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN)

Next up, the Spartans play the St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders (West St. Paul, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 20. Richfield will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 21-3 record after their 56-38 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, WI).
