In Friday's non-league match, the visiting St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions basketball team scored a tight 59-55 triumph over the Lakeside Vikings.
In their next game, the Golden Lions meet the Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 21. St. Pius X Catholic will attempt to move on its 14-12 season record. The War Eagles enter the match with a 21-7 record after their 78-70 non-league loss to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA).
With the defeat, Lakeside moves to 14-11 on the year.
