With the victory, Leake Academy upgrades its record to 34-5 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 38-3. Brookhaven Academy won 59-49 in their recent non-league bout against Pillow Academy (Greenwood, MS)

Next up, the Cougars play the Pillow Academy Mustangs (Greenwood, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. Simpson Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 31-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 59-49 non-league loss to Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS).
