The Western Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Marshall Redhawks to 43 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumen Christi Catholic for a Interstate 8 contest on Tuesday, February 21. Western will battle a Titans team coming off a 38-31 league loss to Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Titans record now stands at 7-13.
With the defeat, Marshall moves to 10-10 on the year. The Redhawks host Northwest (Jackson, MI) to meet the Mounties in a Interstate 8 match on Tuesday, February 21. The Mounties enter the match with a record of 17-2.
