Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Princeton upgrades its record to 9-14 on the season. The Tigers travel to Esko (Esko, MN) to play the Eskomos in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Eskomos go into the bout with a record of 13-8.

Next up, the Vikings play the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. North Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-16 record after their 84-45 non-league loss to Pine City (Pine City, MN).
