In Friday's league match, the host St. John's Cadets basketball team scored a good 52-42 triumph over the Paul VI Panthers.
In their next game, the Cadets meet the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a Washington Catholic match, on Sunday, February 19. St. John's will attempt to better on its 21-6 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 12-13 record after their 60-59 league win over Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD).
With the defeat, Paul VI moves to 18-9 on the year.
