Utah High School Basketball - Stansbury can't hold off Payson

February 17, 2023: Payson, UT 84651

The Payson Lions basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Stansbury Stallions to 36 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 16-5 record.

The Stallions (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT). The Bengals come into the non-league contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, Brighton edged East (Salt Lake City, UT), 74-32, in a league contest.
