Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) and the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), saw South Lyon East's basketball squad knock off Walled Lake Northern by a count of 49-33.

With the victory, South Lyon East upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mott (Waterford, MI) to play the Corsairs in a Lakes Valley challenge on Friday, February 24. The Corsairs come into the challenge with a record of 4-15.

Next up, the Knights play the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Friday, February 24. Walled Lake Northern will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record.
