Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA), 6-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils face the Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 20. Model will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Dade County (Trenton, GA).

The Mountaineers now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Murray County for a 2A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, February 28.
